Tips you should know about burn treatment

Burn causes wrinkles, scars and wound on the body and it’s hard to get rid of it. Appropriate home burn treatment for treating your skin burns is a miracle to heal scarring.

Home remedies include potato juice, mint paste, yogurt, cold water and etc. But there are more other treatments that can help you.

First degree burn treatment:

  • Rinse the burned area for 5 minutes with cold water.
  • Use acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
  • Use Aloe Vera gel or Cream containing antioxidants.
  • Dress the damaged area.
  • Avoid using ice.
  • Avoid cotton because of tiny threads on it.

Burn treatment due to boiling water vapor:

  • Place the damaged area for 20 minutes in cold water
  • Avoid rubbing the burned area
  • make sure to visit your doctor if you have an ulcer on the skin, so the infection does not get a way into your body
  • Avoid dressing the burned area
  • Use antibiotics

Burn treatment due to fire :

  • Remove the contaminating equipment from the person
  • Never cut off the clinging clothes to the wound
  • Bathe the area with cool water
  • Dress the wound with sterile gas
  • Give some water to the patient
  • Inform the emergency department

Burn treatment due to hot oil:

  • Cold water is the best choice for burns
  • Avoid putting ice on it·
  • Avoid mixing ice and salt as its mixture results in more skin burning

Laser Burn Treatment:

Laser treatment is one of the best ways to eliminate the effects of burns and wrinkles. With laser treatment, the surface layer is healed greatly and eliminates much of this complication.

Burn treatment with honey:

Honey is a natural antibiotic. It prevents inflammation and infection of the burned area. Honey helps to relieve burns and pain. This substance is helpful for healing wounds caused by burns and treats them.

Burn treatment with vinegar:

Vinegar with citric acid in it is included in the category of aspirins, which can relieve pain and itching and inflammation caused by burns. Antiseptic cream prevents infections in the burned area. Its function is obvious if you put a vinegar-stained sterilized gas directly on the burn area and put a moist towel in the diluted vinegar to see the efficiency.

Point:

The damaged skin is more susceptible to the sunlight,so keep it away from sunlight and cover it with cloth.

Treatments you should avoid:

  • Butter
  • Oils
  • Albumen
  • Ice

When the pain and burning are over, there are treatments in order to avoid any traces of it on the skin. The following can be applied to the damaged area to allow the skin remake itself and make the traces disappear.

  • Tomato juice
  • Sour lemon juice
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Almond oil
  • Mix yogurt, barley and turmeric
