What is bone fracture?

The muscles are usually attached to the bones, and the bones form the skeleton of the body. Any breakdown in the bone is called bone fracture. In principle, fracture must be regarded as a serious injury, because in this damage, not only the skeleton, but also the soft tissues adjacent to it, such as the vessels, nerves, tendons, ligaments, muscles and skin, are also damaged. A fracture can be the result of a direct impact, such as a stroke on the shin, or the result of an indirect stroke, such as a collapse due to a collapse of the balance.

What are the symptoms of bone fracture?

Many of you may develop fissures or fractures in parts of your body and do not be sure of torsion or fracture. Bone fractures are often accompanied by the following symptoms:

Swelling

Inflammation is one of the symptoms that occurs immediately after fracture. Typically, in fractures, the sharp edges of the broken bone cause a part of the soft tissue and some of the damaged vessels to rupture or cut, leading to bleeding and inflammation in that area.

Transformation

Deformation can be as short or angled bone in the fracture site.

Painful touch

One of the symptoms of a fracture, the painfulness of the member is broken. Pain sensitivity exists only at the site of fracture, and the injured person can pinpoint the pain point.

Injury to the injured member

At this time, the injured will feel unable to move the member due to excessive pain. Of course, it is likely that the injured will shake the member with pain.

  • The feeling of rubbing the two broken bones:
  • Occasionally, the injured person may hear the sound of a broken bone during fracture, or, at the time of movement, feel the sound of rubbing the two bones.
  • Change the color of the affected area:

Pain or bruising at the site of the fracture usually occurs one hour after the fracture.

What are the causes of bone fracture?

Problems such as joint fractures can occur for a variety of reasons. One of the main reasons for this is the following:

  • Crash a heavy object
  • Osteoporosis
  • Falling from height like mountains and buildings
  • Crash
  • Torsion causes bone to weaken and causes the bone to be seriously damaged.
  • Strong force into the bone so that the bone does not have the strength to Withstand impact.

Treatment for bone fractures

Treatment for bone fractures

Treatments are prescribed for treatment, including the following:

  • Plaster
One of the best known treatments for bone fractures is splinting or plating. Damaged areas can be kept intact and stuck in place. By doing so, the bones are positioned opposite each other and after a while they will recover at the damaged point.
  • Pain relief medications

The pain of bone fracture is very high. Medications are prescribed for pain control and help to the patient.

  • Create traction:

To fractures, the tensile force is applied to the two sides of the broken area opposite each other. Stretching in the broken area is done with the help of tools. This helps in the process of fracture recovery.

  • Surgery:
In fractures that are not responsive to other treatments, surgery is used to deliver the two ends of the fracture. To do this, in the surgery, screw and metal accessories are used to fix the bones together. This treatment is somewhat painful, but with proper care, after a period of bone bone healing and recovery is quickly achieved.

When should I go to a doctor?

If you find that your joint is fractured or if you have severe pain in the broken area, see your doctor as soon as possible. Also, if you have torsion in your leg, you should talk to a doctor because it can lead to fractures.

How to prevent bone fractures?

In order to prevent bone fracture, the following points should be noted, be sure to observe the following:

  • Put milk in the top priority.
  • Do not forget foods and supplements like vitamin D and calcium. Talk to your doctor about taking medication.
  • If you have a history of osteoporosis in the family, be sure to go to the doctor and have periodic tests and photos.
  • If you are a construction worker, be sure to use safety equipment.
  • If you’re an athlete, it does not matter what you’re doing. Be sure to use tools that increase your safety.
  • When you sit in a car, close your belt
  • If your home is located on the fourth floor of a building, try to keep the stairs always tidy and dry to prevent the risk of falling.
  • If your workplace has many steps, take the most care in your commute.
  • If you need to use a ladder, be sure to help someone to keep it.
  • If you are suffering from osteoporosis, be sure to follow the proper exercises for this disease as it helps to improve your body and your endurance and balance. Also, avoid risk of collapse.
