What is breast cancer?

Breast cancer occurs due to abnormal malignant reproduction of the breast tissue cells. In concepts; It is a general and constant issue, but it has several types of cancer, each of which, in turn, grows and develops at different stages. The difference is so much that the researchers say that every woman has a specific cancer, as the finger print of each person is different.3

Causes of Breast Cancer:

  • History of breast cancer in the family
  • Gestational age older than 35 years
  • Infertility
  • Early puberty
  • Late menopause
  • Obesity after menopause
  • History of radiation to the chest
  • Some benign breasts
  • High intake of animal fat

Breast Cancer and Symptoms:

Swollen chest

The masses are rigid and can be recognized by the touch of the breast and are usually painless.

Discharge from the nipple

Brushes come out of the nipple in white, brown, blue, gray, red, green or colored ones. Secretion along with blood or blood vessels is sure symptom of the cancer and should be referred to the doctor.

Breast skin changes

Changes such as swollen or stretching of the breast skin occur at the breast, and it should be determined by the doctor that is cancer or not.

Breast chest is caused by lactation or puberty, and it is restored by handing it, but if it does not return to its original state, it can be seen that there is a cancer in the brown auricle.

Cancer treatment is used for various purposes. It mainly aims to interfere with breast cancer, provide long life and limit the growth of these cells. Cancer treatment depends on the age, health status of the patient, hormonal status. Cancer treatment methods are as follows:

Chemotherapy

This method is used to eliminate cancer cells by interfering with their function and reproduction. Chemotherapy can be used alone or with radiation before and after surgery. Chemotherapy can be a therapeutic or relief method.

Radiotherapy

More than half of cancer patients undergo radiation therapy during their treatment. They use this method depending on the size of the tumor alone, or sometimes in combination with other treatments. Determining the amount of radiation depends on the size of the tumor, tissue tolerance and tissue around against beam.

Hormone Therapy

Hormone therapy attacks cells that are estrogen-progesterone-dependent. In the early stages of treatment, hormone therapy is used along with surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy.

Gene Therapy

In this treatment, the genetic defects were corrected or genes used to destroy cancer cells to fight breast cancer.

Surgery

Surgery is the primary treatment in the early stages of cancer. The purpose of this surgery is to maintain the breast and minimize the risk and prevent the growth of these cancer cells.
