What is waist disc disease?

One of the most common diseases in people with waist disc disease is the development of technology and mobility in people and sitting and long standing, weakness in the muscles, especially around the waist, and affects the health of the individuals.

Most people suffer from back pain during their lifetime, but they can prevent backache and erosion of the discs.

What is waist disc disease

 The prevention method includes :

  • Do exercises to strengthen the muscles of the waist and increase their flexibility
  • Use the right movement habits
  • Lose weight if you are overweight

Waist disc may occur at any age, but usually occurs in people over 45 years old. Every man has 26 vertebrae in his backbone, the vertebrae are separated by a flexible plate called a disc. If, for any reason, the disc has its own outward or hernia, then the spinal cord pushes the area and causes pain in the area called the waist disc disease.

In most cases, the hernia of the disc occurs between the fourth and fifth waist vertebrae (lower part of the body).

Symptoms of the waist disc :

  • Backache
  • Muscle cramps (spasms)
  • The nerve of the leg is disabled and causes leg numbness and the leg creates drowsiness.
  • In the advanced phase of the disease, the person loses his control of his urine and feces.

The doctor uses a physical exam, imaging tests and electrical tests to diagnose the waist disc herniation, and if it is approved, it will control by physiotherapy, muscle relaxants, corticosterone and analgesics and anti-inflammation. It is suggested to relax and it is advised to avoid absolute resting until your muscle weakness prevents you from walking and also avoid heavy exercises, such as climbing and driving, moreover, water therapy And the swimming pool is one of the ways to treat back pain and musculoskeletal pain.

Muscle cramps (spasms)

Causes of the waist disc :

  • Aging
  • Overweight
  • Big belly
  • Bad body position when standing and sitting
  • Lifting heavy objects in an inappropriate mode
  • Unhealthy Exercises
  • Long distance driving
  • much bending and straightening

Waist disc and its treatment :

Its treatment is different depending on the severity and the pain of it, in those people who have lost control of their urine and feces due to their waist disc, should be acted upon quickly and in people who have a mild paralytic condition, As days goes by, they also have to act quickly to not experience the worse conditions in their lives.

In other cases, patients are advised to rest and change their lifestyle.
